Sleepy Lincoln - 7 Months Old

Lincoln turned 7 months old on October 17th and has started babbling up a storm. When he wakes in the morning, he is content to hang out in his crib making all sorts of noise...baa, mama, dada. I was thrilled to here the first mama, but of course, he has not idea of the meaning.

We are well past the days of learning how to eat as Lincoln now readily opens his mouth like a little bird and squeals when he realizes the food is coming. So far he is a big fan of most all traditional baby foods, but sweet potatos really get him smacking his lips. I have been working in the occasional serving of prunes too (to keep things moving - smile) and it is super fun to watch him pucker up his lips at the tartness.

Erik was away for a good part of the month touring Southeast Asia (Thailand and Cambodia). He had a great time and came home safely with lots of stories to tell. While Erik was away, Lincoln and I enjoyed each other's company. Erik had the camera, so I didn't take as many pictures, but here are a few of Lincoln catching some zzzz...
