Celebrating in June
June was a busy month for the Walker family and full of celebration. On Father's Day, we spent a lazy day at home. Lincoln made a special first Father's Day card for Erik which included a "Take Me to the River" coupon. Lincoln may be too little to go on a canoe trip with his Daddy this year, but he offered to shuttle Erik from the 'put in' to the the 'take out' and greet him with a smile after a day on the river. Lincoln will be river ready soon enough, but he has some growing to do before he can fit into a life vest.

This may be Lincoln's first attempt at blowing a kiss.

And he has definitely mastered the smile and is moving on to full blown giggles. Pictured here wearing his custom made onesie, designed by his Aunt Ursula.
Jennifer celebrated her birthday with family and friends at Smith Mountain Lake. Ursula, Jeremy, and Baby Emerson came for a long weekend along with Jennifer's Mom. And Jennifer's good friends Kelly, Steve, and Grayson joined us for a couple of days too. We had a great time - perfect weather and the boys were well behaved.
Proud grandmother of not one, but two grandsons!!!

Grayson enjoyed the lake. He played with his toys, snacked on goldfish, and flashed lots of dimpled smiles throughout the day. Pictured here grinning with mom, Kelly.
No matter how we mothers tried, we couldn't get the boys to nap at the same time. Pictured here, Emerson is sound asleep, Grayson is waking up, and Lincoln is no where near tired.
Lincoln enjoyed hanging out on the dock with his friends. Lincoln spent a lot of time talking to his felt friends.
Chase had the time of her life swimming in the lake. Although, judging from these pictures I think it is debatable as to who is happier, Chase or Erik. Chase didn't know what to think when she jumped in the water after a stick and Erik jumped in after her. She has been swimming lots of times, but never in a place that Erik could swim with her.
