Jill's 40th Birthday Bash

July 11, 2009. Jacques threw a huge field party for Jill's 40th birthday party and we were part of the fun. "Bad Circus," my cousins, Will & Taylor Smith's band played until the wee hours of the morning, but during band breaks, my Dad, Erik, and Jill's brother-in-law Mitch kept the stage warm. As soon as Erik and Dad struck the first chord, Lincoln and Emerson both stopped what they were doing and headed toward the stage as fast as they could. Neither boy even hesitated when they got close to the stage, rather they stepped right up to be part of the show. Both boys also enjoyed the moon bounce as did some of the adults (at 1am in the morning). Who could believe my 80+ year old Nanny took a turn and was just as silly as the rest of the gang.
