June Weekend

June 25 - 28, 2009. Mom, Ursula, and Emerson came up to visit for a long weekend and to celebrate my birthday. 34 years old and still enjoying a giant cookie cake as if I were 13. We had a great time together and though we had a few boughts of tears over having to share a favorite toy, all in all, the boys really enjoyed each other's company. Lincoln was so worn out after everyone left on Sunday, that he took a three hour nap - which is a rare thing these days.

Emerson found a good stick and decided to show Lincoln how to be a beaver. In turn, Lincoln then picked a large handful of grass and showed Emerson how to be a rabbit.

When spent a few hours at the pool one day. Both boys enjoyed the independence of playing in the large kiddie pool.
