Isle of Palms for Thanksgiving
For Thanksgiving 2008, we packed up the truck and headed south to spend the holiday with family on the Isle of Palms in South Carolina. The whole clan was able to be together for five days in an awesome cottage style house just walking distance from the beach. Anne and Sarah served up tasty 'horsey durvers' mid-afternoon, the guys kept the mood festive with some party tunes on the sun porch, and everyone enjoyed watching the babies play together. Lincoln was full of hugs and kisses for twins, Levi and Zuki (5 months old). Thanksgiving meal was delicious as always with head chef, Anne, in charge. In addition to roasting a turkey in the oven, she also put a slow cooker to use on the sun porch and cooked up a second savory turkey breast to ensure we had lots of leftovers. Her homemade sausage stuffing was divine and everyone had their fill of mashed potatos and gravy. What a feast! Thank you family for making Thanksgiving 2008 one to remember.
