Halloween 2008
Halloween night was a lot of fun this year. Ursula and Jeremy hosted a party and everyone had a good time watching the kids play together in their costumes. Lincoln went as a "Turtle Pirate." I designed a special hat complete with ruby red turtle eye and cross bones, and Erik made Lincoln a sword so he could defend Turtle Cove. Though he had some awesome accessories that would have actually made him look like a turtle pirate (we even had a turtle for his shoulder in lew of a parrot), Lincoln was not at all interested in his pirate gear. We didn't manage to get a single picture on Halloween night of the complete costume, but I am determined to create another photo opportunity and try again. In the end, Lincoln looked more like a little stowaway (perhaps on a pirate ship).

Emerson, dressed as the cutest darn beaver ever, was proud to pose for pictures. Ursula made his costume and he was the perfect little model. Jeremy and Ursula decided that Emerson should dress as a beaver this Halloween because he has taken on a true beaver trait over the past few months. He has taken teething to a whole new level and has literally gnawed on his crib to the point that chunks of wood are missing. Nothing like a little extra fiber to keep things moving.
Here is Emerson showing off his beaver belly and feet. He had a great beaver tail too, which he proudly dragged along behind him until well past his bedtime.

Jennifer: Thank you so much for the pictures of Lincoln. I have a "family room" where I have my computer, sewing machine, etc., and all the pictures of my "family" that are most special to me. Lincoln has grown soooo much. He is your spitting image!
What a darlin'. Now that I have (finally) signed into the blog (Google doesn't make it easy), I will be able to keep in better contact. Glad you liked the Halloween picture frame. I thought it was really cute. Thank you again for the wonderful pictures. Lincoln has a special multi-picture frame all to himself. Take care, Love you, Marilyn
