On the Move and into Everything

At thirteen and a half months, Lincoln is officially crawling and cruising everywhere. He started out with an army crawl, but quickly moved to all fours and is so happy to be exploring everything. Erik and I have certainly done our fair share of worrying, but thanks to Amanda, Lincoln's physical therapist, and lots of time spent 'exercising', our little boy has finally figured it out and we couldn't be happier and more proud.

Even though Lincoln can crawl on his own, he still enjoys riding in his big truck.

Lincoln has figured out how to crawl up the two steps from the family room into the kitchen and quickly heads toward the cabinets. But he still stops to flash us a smile.

Of all the cabinets in the kitchen, Lincoln's favorite is the one with the trashcan.

Tupperware time. He got a kick out of hitting himself in the head with the bottle brush.

Hey Mr. Spaceman, won't you please take me along for a ride...

Refueling the engines. Or just making a mess.

Lincoln loves being outside...and I think he is the only one in the neighborhood that appreciates the thousands of maple tree helicopters that decorate the ground this time of year.

Look mom, I found a giant black snake.

Classic Lincoln!

Lincoln always looks back to see if we are watching his new moves.

Captured...before he could dig in the dirt. Why is it that little boys always go for the dirtiest things?

After a day on the deck, Lincoln decided to see what trouble he could get into inside the house. And what man doesn't love spending time in the bathroom?

Just when the weather started to get warm, we had a cold front come through. Lincoln didn't understand why we needed to come inside when it started to rain.

So we left the door open for him to feel the fresh air.

All that moving and exploring, makes for one tired little boy.
