Truckin like the Do-Dah Men

Erik, Lincoln, and I drove to Christiansburg, Va. to visit with our friends Kelly, Steve, and Grayson Rawlings, and stay in their brand new home. Lincoln and Grayson had fun playing together. In particular, Lincoln enjoyed truckin' around the house on Grayson's cool Seasame Street ride. Lincoln's feet didn't quite touch the ground, but Grayson helped push him along while Lincoln beeped the horn.

Sometimes the boys rode together, other times they took turns. Grayson did a great job sharing his toys with Lincoln. When Grayson was ready for a turn, he would say "Maow" (which can be translated into my turn) and then he would use his scoop and lift move as seen here.

After a few trips around the house, it was time to explore other things. Lincoln was on the move all weekend. Officially at 13 months old, Lincoln can now crawl and even cruise to get things he wants. His moves aren't all that graceful yet, but with each passing day, he is gaining strength and before long we will be chasing after him.
