Good-bye Amanda

When we first met Amanda over a year ago (in June 2007), Lincoln was a tiny little baby and we were concerned parents. The idea that something wasn’t quite right with Lincoln’s muscle development and that he would need regular physical therapy was hard to swallow. From the very first session, Amanda helped us feel at ease. She took great care when working with him, recognized the need for ‘breaks’ (for Lincoln and for us), and practiced patience when working with his individual needs and ours (including entertaining all of our many questions). Amanda is an exceptional physical therapist and has a natural gift for working with children and their parents. We couldn’t have asked for a better PT and friend for Lincoln.

It is with much sadness that we say good-bye as Amanda and her husband are moving to South Carolina. We will miss our weekly sessions, and we wish you and your husband all the best.

In mid-July, Lincoln will start working with his new PT as we continue to make strides each week towards walking like a big boy.
