Lincoln and his cousin, Baby Emerson

Emerson Cade Bryant arrived on Sunday, May 27th at 1:07pm after staying in his comfy water world for 40 weeks and 5 days. My sister Ursula labored and pushed for nearly 9 hours to deliver Emerson. He was a mighty 8lbs, 5oz. and measured 21 inches long. He is healthy and beautiful, and has already managed to get his entire little hand in his mouth. He can make some fierce sucking sounds using his tongue and fingers. (It took Lincoln two months to find his hands - Emerson is ahead of the curve on this one.) Emerson's family is thrilled that he is finally here (as is Ursula) and Lincoln is proud have a cousin to play with.

Erik with the boys...

Although he may not look it, Lincoln is really happy to meet his cousin.
