Christmas Eve 2011
December 24, 2011. It is Christmas Eve!!! And the boys are so excited and so am I.
Drawing pictures for Santa Claus. Lincoln drew a picture of "field mice" because as he said they are winter animals and Santa really likes winter animals. Berkeley colored several Frosty Snowman pictures for Santa.
Reading "Twas the Night Before Christmas." Doesn't seem like that long ago that my mom was reading this to my sister and I. Hard to believe I am actually reading it to my own children now.
Setting out the animal crackers for Santa. Lincoln was very selective in which animals he thought Santa would like. Berkeley on the other hand was just ready to get the job done. "Dump it owt Lee-can."
Mission accomplished and both boys excited for Santa!!!
Lincoln's field mice picture is in the mailbox.
Before heading off to bed, we just had to get a few pictures of the Walker family in their Christmas pajamas.

As we were putting Lincoln to bed, we asked what he thought Santa would bring. This is the response we got. "I already told you. Santa is gonna bring me a hockey stick, a puck, a football helmet, and a brown football." Yes, Lincoln you are right, you have already told us your list. Santa many not bring you everything on your list you know - you already have a football remember. "No, mama, no daddy, I know I already have a football, but it isn't a real one. It is not brown. I want a brown one. And Santa is gonna bring me everything on my list, cause my list is short so he can do it all. Remember I had a lot of things on my list, but then I made it short so Santa can get me everything on my list, okay."
