Cousin E Came to Visit

September 25-27, 2009. Ursula, Jeremy, and Emerson came to visit for the weekend and we all had a great time. Both boys were super excited to see each other and seemed to really enjoy playing together. They dressed up in matching hard hats, danced to No More Monkeys, played trains, watched Word World together, sang sounds, and made each other laugh time and again.

Saturday was a rainy, cold, stay indoors kind of day, but Sunday the clouds moved on and provided for a beautiful day at Great Falls. The boys enjoyed watching several kayakers navigate the rapids, while we held them close. Lincoln and Emerson shared a little conversation together about how deep the water was and that they would get all wet if they went in. Not the best family photos below, but they capture the moment nonetheless.

While Emerson and Erik napped in the truck, we got to watch a mule pull a boat along the C&O canal.

Only one little boy is really asleep below. Betcha can't guess which of the two is pretending.
