Safari Park!
May 5, 2012. Our second trip to the Natural Bridge Safari park was a touch rainy, but we made the best of it. As expected the boys really enjoyed the animals, constantly calling our attention to the sights they saw. My mom joined us and brought a great picnic lunch with all of my favorite things. Then we piled in the suburban and headed into the park. Lincoln started out really scared, terrified actually, but same as last time, about half way through he started to get brave. So many of the animals had babies - we saw baby llamas, lemurs, monkeys, giraffes, goats, and fallow deer. I don't think I will ever tire of going to the park. It is a different experience every time.
Lincoln as seen from his hiding place in the very back of the truck. For awhile he was behind the stroller, but he decided he could see some things and still feel safe behind the cooler.
Closer to the windows now, but still not so sure.
Lincoln seen talking to a llama having conquered his fears!
Berkeley didn't hesitate at all to stick his little hand out to feed the giraffe and feel his tongue.
Brought to Virginia on the USS Berkeley!!!
