Happy Groundhogs

February 2, 2012. Happy 38th Birthday to Erik and Happy Groundhogs day! We celebrated Erik's turning another year older with a boston creme pie, happy birthday serenades by both boys, and some good ole' family fun. Berkeley found a comfortable place to re-energize before the birthday festivities began.

Opening presents. All three were eager to get into the package. And impressively, Lincoln managed to keep the secret until all the paper was torn off.

And the second present was a package of nerf guns with loads of extra "bull-ups." I have wanted to hold off on getting guns as long as possible, but since both Lincoln and Berkeley pick up just around anything and pretend to shot with it, I figured it was time to introduce the real toy of every boy's childhood.
