The Love of a Paci
March 3, 2011. Berkeley is 14 months old and loves his pacifers. Without any parental influence his preference would absolutely be to always have one in his mouth and one in hand, sometimes even two or three. He makes up his own games with his paci - tossing it in the air to watch it fall, giving it a ride in a truck, tucking it behind a pillow and pointing and grunting until we find it, taking a bite of food and then instantly popping it back in to add to the enjoyment of his meal, and offering it to people (and Chase) with a big smile and hand clapping. I don't plan on permanently taking the paci away anytime soon, but when the time comes, the paci fairy better be sufficiently armed with muscle and speed as I think Berkeley is going to fight her for them until the end.

Not sure exactly what happened here, but I think it involved a tackle from big brother, a stolen paci, and an over-tired baby. Whatever the exact case, when Berkeley is mad, he sure does let us know it.

I included these pictures below of Lincoln so as to compare Lincoln and Berkeley's size. You will note that they are wearing the same pants - Lincoln celebrating his second birthday and Berkeley showing the results of his great appetite at just 14 months & 9 days old. My boys sure are different in so many ways!
