Air & Space Museum

In early February, my parents and Ursula and Emerson paid us a visit. On Saturday we visited the Steven Udvar-Hazy Center in Dulles, which is the companion museum to the National Air & Space museum downtown. The Udvar-Hazy Center has literally thousands of aircraft and aviation artifacts. It is a huge, wide-open place which proved a perfect playground for two toddlers to burn some energy. Lincoln (almost 23 months) and Emerson (almost 21 months) had a blast seeing how fast and how far they could run.

There they go.

Stopping for a moment to check out the flight suit.

Every now and again, Emerson decided to lay down on the floor to feel out cold it was. He was a great source of entertainment for many onlookers and Ursula added to the fun when she tried repeatedly to convince Emerson to get up an get moving. He had another plan all together.
