Turtle A La Lincoln

Lincoln loves his turtle. Or is it a tortoise? Terrapin? Sea Turtle?
As I was coming up with a caption for this posting, I decided to look on the internet to see if people really do eat turtle. And sure enough, there are oodles of recipes available and some great advice on how to clean and prepare a turtle for eating in case you are ever in need. Here are a few of the more interesting recipes: Kyle's Flaming Turtle, Dano's Turtle Tips and Mushrooms, BBQ Turtle, April's Turtle Soup, Southern Twice Fried Turtle, Oven Baked Turtle, Turtle Fricasse, Creamed Terrapin, Turtle Tapenade. While all of these sound delightful, I think we will stick to Lincoln's recipe.
